2007 Opened in Spectacular style for Showtech,
Showtech were asked by Andrew Walsh, Producer of the Opening Ceremony of the 18th Arabian Gulf Cup, to organise and provide management for a troupe of aerialists for the Opening Ceremony.
Showtech stepped up the mark and bought on Christy Shelper as Choreographer, Robyn hand picked the 8 aerialists whom were made up of 3 generations of performers from the Fruit Fly Circus. Tiny was Head rigger for the segment, both at rehearsals and in the stadium. Showtech supplied rigging for the performers along with the aerial system supplied by Stage One.
The team and performance was put together in 2 weeks, with 1 weeks rehearsal in the stadium, it proved to be a huge success, and was only made possible by the professional team of aerialists and riggers.
The opening ceremony was the biggest ever opening for any football event.
From this Robyn has now announced the opening of her new company "Aerial Arts Management Australasia" who will specialise in management of aerial artists and provide a full package that includes performance routines, rigging and technical services.
