GROUND SUPPORT SYSTEMS

Showtech were the first to bring the self erecting ground support systems to Australia in 1993. our first system was the Tomcat system, we now also have the Browns ground support system which Tiny helped develop with Browns Welding.

Our ground support systems are modular, they can be used indoors and out for various applications, from Stunt and circus rigs, to concert and festival roofs.

Our standard concert or festival roofs are as follows and come with a tarped roof and shade-cloth back wall:-

Indoors they can be made to suit your requirements up to 45’ x 45’ with 4 legs, and bigger with the support of additional leg sections.

ALL of our systems indoors and out have been engineered to Australian standards.

These systems generally take us 2-3 hours to erect to working height depending on the size.

The advantage of these systems is that you can rig your lights or requirements at ground level, and then the truss is raised to trim once ready, no cranes or boom lifts are required, unless desired by the client or location and safety restrictions apply.

Showtech now have Modular floating pontoons, each section is 3m x 2m and have a *300kg per sq m capacity (subject to specific uses and applications).

Smart Appearance, flexibile and easily demountable and moveable.

Polythlyene system - making the dock sections tough, flexible, UV stabilised and do not deteriate in a marine environment.

Specially profiled surface ensures slip resistance.

Useful for many applications, including: Pyro barges, floating work platforms, floating scenic platforms, floating camera platforms, floating stunt platforms, floating walkways, marinas, helipads, swimming platforms, etc.
